I know everyone wants me to comment about the death of Bea Arthur, but what is there to say? She was an amazing comic actress with a plethora of brave, funny, and yet, mainstream feminist roles. What an awesome lady, funny right up until the day she died.

I just heard a Joanna Newsom song in a Victoria’s Secret commercial, and saw an Eleanor Roosevelt quote used in an ad for Botox. Ummmmmm… What?
